Description

Black and white view of the Lourdes basilica perched on a rocky promontory, with the miraculous grotto in the foreground where a statue of the Virgin Mary is placed. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Edition P. Doucet, Lourdes' and a handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame M. G. Baudry in Château-Chierry, with a 12-franc stamp and a cancellation from Castillon-de-Ladignac dated May 29th, 1951.
