View of the Lourdes basilica with a crowd of pilgrims in period attire in front of a statue of the crowned Virgin on a pedestal. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated April 7, 1923, sent from Lourdes to Marie Valade in La Fon, Gironde, with a 10-centime green stamp and a Lourdes postmark.
