Description

View of the grotto and basilica of Lourdes, with a crowd of pilgrims at the foot of the hill. Two green stamps (20c and 5c) are affixed at the top left, overprinted with a circular stamp 'Lourdes'. The reverse has a handwritten address to Cannes (Alpes-Maritimes) and a postmark from Lourdes dated 28 July 1927.
