View of the Pic du Jer funicular railway in Lourdes, with its ornate architectural entrance building and the railway ascending the rocky mountain. The reverse contains a handwritten letter addressed to 'Chère Victorine', mentioning an illness and a 'flusion' (probably 'fluctuation'), as well as the publisher 'LL.' and the stamp 'CARTE POSTALE'.
