Black and white aerial view of the Interallied Monument and the sanctuaries of Lourdes, surrounded by wooded hills. The reverse features a handwritten address to Madame Élise Abet in Gentilly (Seine), a postmark from Lourdes dated 18 June 1949, and a 3 franc French stamp. The publisher 'Elée' is signed at the bottom left of the front.
