Description

Black and white view of the Le Pibeste cable car (1400 m) in Lourdes, with a small tower on a rocky promontory overlooking a mountain valley. The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to Valenciennes, dated April 27, 1950, with a 12-centime French postage stamp and a Lourdes postmark.
