View of the Esplanade in Lourdes with the statue of Saint Michael on the right, a central crucifix and the church in the background, under a clear sky. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 2, 1918, addressed to Madame M. Sabatier in Saint-Georges-d'Orques, with a green 15-centime stamp and a postmark from Lourdes.
