Description

Panoramic view of the snow-capped Monts Maudits from Luchon, with a figure in silhouette in the foreground. The front indicates the peaks: Néthou (3404m), Pic Coroné (3310m), Salanques (2993m), Moulières (3005m), and the Col des Salanques (2448m). The back features a handwritten letter to 'Ma chère petite Colobe', dated 12 October 1914, sent from Luchon, with an incomplete address and a postmark 'CARTE POSTALE'.
