View of the plaster mill in Xerbéviller, Lunéville, severely damaged by a German bombing in August 1914. Four people stand in front of the ruins, including a woman in an apron on the left. The back features a handwritten letter dated 3 February 1915, sent to Mme Maudet in Arces (Yonne), with a Lunéville postmark dated 15 February 1915.
