Black and white view of Mersch Castle, surrounded by pines and a stone wall, with a round tower and an arched entrance. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 5.4.49 addressed to Mr. Paul Kraus in Mersch, with a 1 franc Luxembourg postage stamp and a Mersch postmark. The publisher is Paul Kraus, no. 453, and reproduction is prohibited.
