Description

Black and white view of the Clervaux Abbey, viewed from the northwest, framed by foliage. The reverse has a handwritten inscription dated July 24, mentioning the Clervaux Mass and the history of Victor Hugo. A 1.50 Luxembourg franc postmark canceled in Clerf on July 29, 1953, addressed to Madame Geneviève Garcelet in Montigny-Doisip (France).
