View of the Hotel du Cardinal Jouffroy in Luxeuil-les-Bains, with its remarkable façade featuring a sculpted tower and a large stone balcony dating from the 16th century. The printed text relates the history of the building, constructed in 1440 by Cardinal Jouffroy, favorite of Louis XI, and later its transformation into an abbey palace. The reverse presents the typical postal correspondence and address area of a postcard, with a handwritten inscription '70' and a watermark 'CPAdeCollection'.
