View of the Château de Luynes, dating from the 11th, 12th and 17th centuries, with its southwest facade in the background of vegetation. The reverse bears a handwritten letter addressed to Miss Crestey in Versailles, with two 20-franc postage stamps of the French Republic, canceled, and the publisher's indication 'Yv. Boucher, Tours'.
