Description

Postcard showing the apse of the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière in Lyon, with handwritten text on the reverse dated July 31, 1900. The message, addressed to Madame Lebnoëils in Villefranche-sur-Saône, relates an uneventful return and a small fall in a café in Limas. The reverse bears a green 10-centime stamp and a cancellation from Lyon-Brotteaux dated July 31, 1900.
