Description

View of the Bartholdi Fountain in Lyon, a work by sculptor Bartholdi, presented at the 1889 World's Fair and acquired by the city in 1892. The fountain, made of hammered lead, depicts a woman and children on a chariot pulled by four sea horses, with an architectural element by A. Hirsch. The reverse indicates the publisher X.
