View of Place des Jacobins in Lyon, centered on the fountain adorned with sculptures, with the Grand Hôtel de Jacobins and shops such as the Tarde pharmacy and Siggrand grocery stores in the background. The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Dorian in Paris, dated August 1, 1906, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a Lyon postmark.
