View of the ornate entrance to the Parc de la Tête d'Or in Lyon, with wrought-iron gate, lampposts and visitors, including a woman on a bicycle. Reverse: handwritten letter dated 21 July, sent from Lyon by Élise to her cousin, mentioning her departure for Paris and her joy at seeing the gardens.
