View of the Monument to the Republic in Lyon, with a crowned female statue holding an olive branch, atop a pedestal adorned with reliefs and sculptures. The printed text above the statue reads 'A LA GLOIRE DE LA REPUBLIQUE'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated Lyon, November 19, 1915, addressed to Marcel, signed by Daniel Blondeau.
