Black and white view from a metal bridge with an ornate wrought-iron railing, showing the Herbouville Promenade in Lyon with green hills and buildings in the background. The reverse indicates that the promenade was authorized under the Consulate in 1769 and completed in 1807, with a mention of the architect M. d'Herbouville. The publisher is H. Bost, rue Honnois in Nancy, and an address in Roanne is also mentioned.
