View of the Town Hall in Lyon, a Baroque building constructed between 1646 and 1672 by Simon Maupin, with its imposing pediment and clock. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 16 June, addressed to a director, mentioning permissions and a precarious health, with a blue stamp and cancellation 'LYON 16 JUNE 1914'.
