View of the Carnot Monument in Lyon, on Republic Square, with a fountain adorned with sculptures and a central obelisk. On the reverse, a postcard dated September 19, 1916, sent from Lyon to Mr. Richard at Avenue Carnot, Alpes-Maritimes, with a 40-centime stamp and a Lyon cancellation.
