Description

View of Lyon's Saint-Jean Cathedral, with its Gothic façade and large circular stained-glass window, dominated by an animated square with a few passersby and a central kiosk. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated December 11, 1917, addressed to 'Ma chère Marmay', describing the city as 'very lively' and 'very bright', signed 'José Gobley'.
