Description

War postcard showing a child in a sailor's uniform offering flowers to a soldier in uniform. Printed text at the bottom: 'My bouquet is, I know, a modest present / But to my dear Father, to whom I address it, / It must please coming from the child / Whose it expresses all tenderness'. Reverse: handwritten letter dated June 1st, 1916, sent from Baranov, signed 'Paul Annot', with stamp and cancellation.
