Engraved portrait of Madame Récamier (Julie Bernard), born in Lyon in 1777, wife of Monsieur Récamier, a banker, and founder of a Parisian salon at the Abbaye-aux-Bois after the fall of the Empire. Her closest friend was Chateaubriand. Reverse: correspondence postcard with publisher indication 'ND' and address to 'Lévy et Neurdein Réunis, 44, rue Latvillier, Paris'.
