Black and white view of the Triumphal Arch of Madrid Gate, dated 1938 (MDCCLXXXVIII), with period vehicles and bare trees. On the reverse, handwritten address to Madame Ed. Mordel in Eure-et-Loir, obliterated Spanish postmark Madrid 2 November 1952, and mention of publisher Dominguez.
