View of the aqueducts of Maintenon, built under Louis XIV to transport water from Poutzgoin to Versailles, whose construction was halted by an epidemic. Reverse: postcard sent to Mr. and Mrs. Roger in La Ferté-Saint-Aubin, dated August 4th, 1923, with a 10-centime green stamp and a Charleville-Mézières cancellation.
