Description

View of Mainz's main station with its impressive neoclassical building adorned with an angel statue at the top. In front of the station, a paved square with a few pedestrians, a parasol cart, and a partially visible tram. Reverse: handwritten letter dated 18/2/28, addressed to 'Alberte' in Mainz, with a German postage stamp and a partially obliterated postmark.
