Colored view of Place de la Nouvelle Fontaine in Mainz, with a central obelisk, traditional-style buildings, and horse-drawn carriages. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated December 17, 1922, addressed to Louise, mentioning a hospital stay and a photo to send. Postmark and cancellation partially visible.
