Description

Colorized view of the Mainz Straßenbrücke (Mainz Street Bridge) in Mayence, with its two brick entrance pavilions and imposing arched deck over the river. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 6-4-33, addressed to Georges, describing a trip to Germany, with comments on cultural and gastronomic differences between France and Germany, and a mention of the Maillly camp. At the bottom left, the inscription 'R.S.M. No 609' is visible.
