Description

Luxurious interior of the Summer Dining Room of the Maisons-Laffitte Castle, adorned with Corinthian columns and statues in niches. Printed text at the bottom of the front identifies the location and publisher. Reverse: handwritten message dated December 23, 1916, addressed to 'Dear Parents', expressing regrets and hopes of a visit, with an address to 'Bours Baisiers, Paris'.
