Description

Postcard showing a luxury carriage decorated with fringes, displayed inside the Château de la Malmaison. The printed text indicates that it is the carriage that carried Joséphine to the château after her divorce, in December 1809, and its arrival in July 1908. The back contains handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Petit Paul', with a signature 'T. Paul'.
