Panoramic view of the village of Mandailles in the Cantal, with its rooftops and bell tower at the foot of the snow-capped mountains (Roches Noires, Puy-Mary, Fours de Peyre Arse, Col de Cabre). Poetic text printed at the bottom: 'At the foot of the high ramparts of the white altitudes...'. Reverse: handwritten correspondence, address to 'Sort les Orques - Lourdes', mention of a hotel and a 'Hôtel de Voyageurs', publisher 'ÉDITION LABOURIE - ACHILLE' and postage stamp with postmark.
