Description

Sepia-toned view of Scarborough Harbour with numerous sailing and hull boats, a lively quay, and buildings in the background, including a church with a steeple. On the reverse, a handwritten address to Monsieur Charles Hellbrin de Neuville, rue des Archives, Paris, France, in French script, with a note 'Post office Regulation'. Red 1 penny stamp and circular postmark from Scarborough dated 12 December 1912.
