Description

Engraved portrait of Marie of England, Queen of France, dressed in a richly embroidered gown and wearing a crown. The printed text at the bottom of the front relates her birth in 1497, her marriage to Louis XII, her return to England, her union with the Duke of Suffolk, and the birth of Jeanne Grey. The reverse indicates the publisher 'LÉPY ET NEUEREN RÉCIT, 44, RUE LEFELIER, PARIS' and the reserved areas for address and correspondence.
