Description

View of a ruined castle in Merkenstein, surrounded by forest and a paved path under a stone bridge. The reverse features a postcard dated September 4, 1908, sent from Berndorf to Paris, with a 5 Heller stamp and a Slavonia cancellation. The handwritten text indicates that the sender, Josef Stolzmann, sends his best wishes to his wife Maria Theresia Leiby.
