Description

Black and white view of the elevators of Notre-Dame de la Garde in Marseille, with the basilica visible in the background on a hill. The reverse has handwritten text dated April 19, 1912, addressed to Mrs. Hélène Pabre in Paris, with a postmark from Marseille. A green 5-centime French Republic stamp is affixed at the top right.
