Black and white view of the basilica Notre-Dame de la Garde in Marseille, with its statue of the Virgin and its bell tower, overlooking a tree-lined road. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Mr. Ricard in Nice, with a 15-centime stamp and a postmark from Marseille (B.-du-R.) dated 27 September 1940. The publisher is « Mireille », rue Longue-des-Prés.
