Description

View of the Fontaine Cantini in Marseille, a central monument adorned with sculptures and fountains, surrounded by a tree-lined promenade with a tramway in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated November 27, 1921, sent from Marseille to Paris, describing the promenade and the view of the sea. The recipient's address is clearly written: 'Madame Doueyque, 76 rue des Panoyaux, Paris'.
