View of the Promenade in Marseille, with a large pine tree in the foreground and buildings along the sea. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 1910, addressed to a 'dear mother', mentioning a trip to Marseille and a 'trial' to be filed in Toulon. The stamp and postmark are visible in the bottom right corner.
