View of La Corniche in Marseille, with houses on the cliffs and a rough sea. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 18, 1953, sent from La Corniche to Lelens (Aix-en-Provence), mentioning a summer camp in Var. Red 12-centime stamp and two postmarks from La Roquebrussanne.
