View of the Corniche in Marseille, with the Anse du Prophète at the bottom, houses on the slopes and boats in the bay. The reverse features a handwritten letter to 'Papa and Marie Maunian' dated May 3, 1923, mentioning a sick person in the hospital and a walk in the Pharo garden.
