Black and white view of La Corniche in Marseille, with houses built on a gentle slope along the sea and a tree in the foreground. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 16, 1923, sent from Marseille to Mr. and Mrs. J. Brugy in Septèmes-les-Vallons, with a green 10 centimes stamp and a postal stamp.
