Description

View of the Gate of Aix in Marseille, a monument adorned with sculptures and the inscription 'TO THE MARSEILLAIS REPUBLIC'. A horse-drawn carriage and pedestrians move around the arch. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated January 19, 1931, addressed to Madame Suzanne Bon in Rennes, with a postmark and cancellation stamp.
