View of the Porte d'Aix in Marseille, a monument adorned with sculptures and the inscription 'À LA RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 27-6-1963 sent from Marseille to Mr. Barthélemy in Landaugren, with a note of departure from Marseille on 6-53. Postmark and cancellation partially visible.
