View of the monumental arch of the Porte d'Aix in Marseille, adorned with sculptures and framed by urban buildings with pedestrians and lampposts. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Merle in St-Georges-d'Orques, with two green 5-centime stamps and a postmark from Marseille dated 14/9/1908.
