Handwritten text on the reverse dated Sunday, October 29, 1901, expressing the monotony of the abbey's distraction and the intention to go to Fréjus the next day. The reverse bears an address to Mr. Robert in Esquerdes (Pas-de-Calais), a 10-centime postage stamp, and a cancellation mark from Marseille (31.08.1901).
