View of the Triumphal Arch of Marseille on Place d'Aix, with pedestrians and trams in the background. The inscription 'À LA RÉPUBLIQUE MARSEILLAISE RECONNAISSANTE' is visible at the top of the arch. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Marguerite Benat in Cadix, with a postage stamp and a Marseille postmark dated May 5, 1905.
