Description

Black and white view of the Château d'If in Marseille, with its round towers and walls overlooking the sea. On the reverse, a handwritten note dated August 1, 1950 mentions a visit to the Château d'If, the abbétoria, and Mirabeau, with a comment on the landscape. A circular Marseille postmark is affixed, and the text mentions that the photo is 'authentic'.
