View of the memorial monument in Marseille, with an inscription at the top: 'To the Heroes of Carthage of the East and the Distant Lands'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated May 8, 1918, sent to Mr. and Mrs. Borneilis in Vincennes, signed by Jacques, with a French postmark from 1918 and a cancellation.
