View of the Puget Monument in Marseille, with a central statue surrounded by sculptures and palm trees, in front of urban buildings. On the reverse, a handwritten note dated December 19, 1916, addressed to a comrade, mentioning 'a few lines' about the 'beautiful places' and 'plants' of the city. The postmark and cancellation are visible.
